    Tim began at HOJ Innovations over 20 years ago, after graduating from the University of Utah School of Business Finance. Tim literally grew up in the material handling industry, working at a young age with his father at the start of the business. Early discussions of conveyor systems, cranes and storage racking became subjects of interest that expanded into the advanced material handling systems and warehouse mobile solutions the company offers today. Tim manages key client relationships, and oversees the sales and engineering divisions of the business. Tim has a passion for saving HOJ’s clients valuable time and money through implementation of improved designs in material handling.

    His latest focus is WarehouseOS, with a belief that warehouse visualization with mobile app driven software on tablets are the future of warehouse barcoding, while empowering the warehouse worker.

    He enjoys family time with his wife, Jenn and four children, at Bear Lake boating, cycling on the road or mountain, or skiing, and paddle boarding.

    Peter Hoj serves as the President, and has been in the leadership at HOJ Innovations since his completion of a MBA degree from the University of Utah over 25 years ago. He also completed a double Bachelor degree in Finance and Management. Before his college education he worked in the installation and fabrication divisions of the business as he went to school. He still loves the opportunity to work with his hands when the opportunity presents itself. Peter Hoj manages the company and leads by example. Hard work and dedication to the client is the ultimate driver. This example shapes and directs the standard of the service divisions of the business.

    Peter enjoys time with his wife Shauna and their four children and one grandson. Other interests are time in the garage with a classic car.

    Chief Operations Officer

    Prior to joining HOJ Innovations, Chuck worked as staff attorney law clerk for the State of Utah Eighth Judicial District Court and as a Guardian ad Litem in the Eighth District. His private practice focused on divorce, bankruptcy and foreclosure proceedings, during which time he returned to school and obtained his M.B.A.

    After working as a consultant for software companies TenFold and Unison, Chuck joined HOJ as a Project Manager in 2009 to direct a new internal CRM, payroll and accounting software project. Working with the division managers and owners, he has helped refine the operations process to improve day-to-day operations.

    When not working on software, running reports or reviewing operations issues, Chuck can be found in Lehi with his wife and five daughters, or occasionally on the stage at the community theater.

    Robert has 30 years of experience in the material handling industry as a R&D Engineer, Solution Consultant and Logistics Team Leader for the development of material handling and distribution systems throughout North America and Canada. Extensive experience in analyzing material handling process and requirements to develop unique system solutions, with a strong focus on the order fulfillment process. Most recently he was involved in the development of new systems and equipment to address the growing need to manage the ever-increasing number of stock keeping units found in today’s distribution centers. Successes include some of the largest and most complex material handling systems in the United States to small facility optimization and equipment enhancements. Holder of three patents for fully automated case picking systems in addition to having developed considerable unique and innovative logistics solutions for many of the Fortune 100 Companies including Coca-Cola, Anheuser-Busch, Delta Airlines and Stora Enso.

    Most recently Robert has been key in the development of the new backcountry.com Internet Order Fulfillment Facility (comprising over 300,000 square feet with the capacity to manage 500,000 unique SKUs), Intermountain Healthcare’s new Distribution Center, the expansion of Maggie Sottero’s Fulfillment center, re-configuration of Vivint’s distribution center facility and the implementation of Xpedx’s new order fulfillment and barcode picking system utilizing our innovative Warehouse Mobile Solutions Product.

    Stan Witt is the currently the Director of Conveyor Innovations at HOJ Engineering. He has over 26 years of professional experience since graduating from BYU with a degree in Design Engineering Technology. His entire career has been dedicated to the improvement of manufacturing and distribution processes through automation. He began his career at Boeing Aircraft Corporation, where he designed robotic work cells to automate assembly processes. Stan then joined ESKAY, a subsidiary of Daifuku. Daifuku is one of the largest material handling companies in the world, which at the time, had begun to expand into the U.S. market. Stan became acquainted with HOJ Engineering during his tenure with ESKAY and has now been with HOJ Engineering for over 18 years.

    Through his career, Stan has had the opportunity to tour and study hundreds of manufacturing and distribution systems throughout the United States, Mexico and Japan. Stan has been involved in the design and implementation of automated material handling systems for many Fortune 500 companies, and well as hundreds of smaller companies. Stan has implemented automation in companies that include Ingersoll-Rand, HP, Motorola, Bunge Foods, Sun Products, Associated Foods, 1-800 Contacts, Merit Medical and many others. His projects have been featured in major material handling publications, and he has been a guest speaker at ProMat in Chicago, the largest trade show for the Material Handling Industry in the U.S.

    Under Stan’s direction, HOJ’s capabilities as a premier systems integrator has grown steadily over the years. HOJ continues improve its processes and stay abreast of the latest innovations in technology and trends that affect the material handling industry.

    Stan’s approach to system design is to combine of a thorough analysis of a customer’s logistics data with his experience of literally hundreds of material handling systems and the latest in proven technology to develop solutions that best fit the customer’s current requirements and growth projections.

    Brian has over 25 years in forklift sales experience. He has worked for forklift manufacturers in a regional capacity and as a salesman and sales manager for several material handling dealerships throughout the United States.

    Since Brian’s arrival in 1999, HOJ has received the Nissan 9 award eight out of the last 17 years, which is awarded based on forklift sales, forklift part sales and market share and is given to only nine Nissan dealerships per year.

    Brian also currently sits on the Unicarriers (Nissan) Dealer Advisory Board, and received the Pinnacle award in 2005, which is Nissan’s highest sales award.

His special skill is in applying LEAN principles to distribution. Mark has designed WarehouseOS for reverse logistics, receiving, replenishment, picking, packing and shipping functions.

    Having been with HOJ since 1990 he has been a key partner with rapidly growing companies such as Backcountry.com, The Sportsman’s Warehouse, Merit Medical Systems and Certifit Auto Body Parts.

    Having grown up as an Air Force brat, moving 12 times around the world as a child, he learned young to listen and understand people — and make friends.     Accounting Manager

    In 1980 Pat moved to Utah with her husband and two children and started working for HOJ Innovations as an accounting clerk. There were only four accounting clerks at the time. She is now the accounting manager for all of HOJ’s accounting departments in Utah and Idaho. Pat has been a part of the tremendous growth at HOJ and excited to see what’s to come in the future. Working at HOJ has been like a second family for Pat over her 30 plus years of service.
