  When it Comes to Heavy Lifting, Hoj Forklift Systems is Forklift Headquarters.
What did they do before they had forklifts? That’s a question that companies all over the Intermountain West would rather not think about. Thanks to Hoj Forklift Systems, they don’t have to. Under Russ Abbott’s direction, Hoj Forklift Systems helps its clients keep equipment, machinery and products in stock and in place in warehouses all over the area. When a forklift breaks down, or another one is needed ASAP; Russ’ team jumps into action.
“We have made a considerable investment in parts, tooling and inventory - in rentals, used and new equipment - to make sure our clients always have the ability to move their inventory,” Russ explained. “But, it’s our people and their training that gives Hoj the edge over the competition.”
Altogether, there are four in-shop mechanics with another eight who make “house calls”, driving the eight service vans. Additionally, Hoj has two large flatbed transport trucks to haul forklifts back and forth.
From the Murray office-warehouse, Russ manages a crew of about 20 people, including the driver-technicians who are constantly on the move, servicing forklift s and making on-the -spot repairs. When the equipment needs attention that only the shop can give it, then one of the flatbeds brings the forklift to the shop,
